When we settled on a destination wedding in Sorrento, Italy we decided that we’d need some help sourcing everything for our big day. That’s when we hired Emily!
My new husband & I both agreed that it was the best money we spent, as the comfort of knowing that everything is taken care of by an expert is priceless; we were able to entertain our guests without worrying about having to organise them. For anyone who is sceptical about investing in a wedding planner, we found that we actually saved money overall from the recommendations that Emily gave us… it’s also a bonus to have someone fighting your corner in price negotiations with suppliers!
We found Emily to be impeccably organised and budget conscious, and she had our best interest in mind at all times. She has a great eye for detail which meant that all of the vendors she recommended were of a high standard (while in budget) and her styling made the room look stunning on the day. You know your wedding planner’s good when you even have guests commenting on how brilliant she is!
From remembering to take my hotel room key when I left to walk down the aisle and making the wedding rings appear at the altar after the groom had forgotten them, we couldn’t have asked for a more helpful wedding planner.

We were planning an Italian themed wedding in the English Countryside (Cotswolds, Gloucestershire) so when I came across Emily online I thought she’d be perfect to help make our dream become a reality. We planned the wedding ourselves and hired Emily as our on-the-day coordinator to keep everything running smoothly. During the planning stages Emily was always on hand to help with any questions we had and to offer advice with things like timings for a 4 course meal or photos which was really helpful. We met at the venue 6 weeks before and I knew we’d made the right choice as Emily took control and asked the venue all the questions I wouldn’t have thought of.
We didn’t want to stress about timings and coordinating things on the day and with a dry hire venue and numerous suppliers this was always going to be difficult. From the moment Emily arrived on the day I didn’t have a thing to worry about. She was always there checking that we were all happy and coordinating everything to such precision that the entire day went perfectly. I felt such relief knowing that I could just relax and everything was in hand. Emily is not only highly professional and amazing at her job but just a lovely, smiley person to have as part of your wedding team. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough whether you are planning a wedding in Italy or in the UK. You definitely won’t regret it!

Emily, we cannot begin to express the gratitude we have for making our dream day come true!
You guided us through each planning stage with confidence and adapted to suit our ideas at the drop of a hat (Brody loved his cannoli tiered wedding cake!). Even if some changes resulted in time constraints; you kept us calm and made us feel that everything was in hand.
The venue you found for us was the perfect find for what we wanted – the views spectacular; the grounds immaculately kept whilst keeping its authentic Italian charm.
All your supplier recommendations were outstanding, I would encourage anyone to use them for their big day, as everyone was so friendly and just as excited for our big day as we were!
From our first meeting; we knew our day was in safe hands with you. You’re an amazing wedding planner and neither of us know what we would have done without you. I wish we could relive our day over and over – to be married in Italy was so special for us and something we never thought was possible.

Thank you so much for helping us plan the most incredible wedding – we had so many of our party telling us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to!
Every single detail was thought of meaning our pre wedding event and wedding day ran so smoothly and the back up plan we didn’t think we’d need was probably better than our original plan!
It was a comfort that no matter what question we had you’d responded quickly, especially when it came to the documentation side of things. We also loved the fact that you were UK based so understood a lot of our traditions/ requirements.
Your colleagues in Sorrento handled everything really well in our pre wedding visits and on the day coordination and made sure that we had everything we needed.
All of the suppliers recommended were fabulous especially Cecelina and Jimena – well worth taking on advice!
Thanks again and we could not recommend you highly enough for any couple looking to get married in Italy (or the UK now you’ve expanded!) – we’ll miss working with you!

Thanks to Emily, we had no reason to fear the thunder and lighting which accompanied our wedding day; the entire day was blissful with beautiful set ups and decor wherever we looked.
Although we went with Plan B, we didn’t need to worry for a moment as Emily ensured that Plan B surpassed our hopes for Plan A!

Emily, we just wanted to say a huge thank you for being so great during our wedding – we absolutely loved it, and couldn’t have done it without you!
Thank you for being so so easy to work with, for never getting cross with our late replies and for always enacting our vision perfectly. Our tiramisu wedding cake was unbelievable so thank you for convincing the pasticceria to make it!
The villa was incredible, the views were amazing and the whole day felt perfectly planned. Annie, our celebrant, was the perfect choice, as were the florist Monica and photographers Andrea & Federica. Thank you for convincing us to get a professional photographer! You were 100% right.
On a more personal note, we really appreciate that you were on board with having two brides, and that you never put us in any awkward situations with suppliers. Not sure if you pre-vetted, but we felt very accepted by everyone involved in the wedding, which made the whole process much easier and enjoyable.
Just so you know, we’re recommending you to everyone! Thank you for making our Italian wedding/Tuscan villa dream come true!

Thank you thank you thank you for helping us create the most amazing day! I’ve been trying to write this review since we got back from Italy, it’s so hard to put into words our sincere thanks to Emily and the team – everything was a dream come true.
Emily was the ideal planner to work with, she replied to emails super quickly and worked within our budget. She understood from the beginning what we wanted our day to be like and it was better than I could ever have expected. Emily helped us to find the dream caterer, florist and the best pizza party location ever. There wasn’t anything that Emily didn’t think about throughout the process, and it was lovely to plan the wedding with her. Emily and Annie worked so so so hard on the actual day to ensure everything ran smoothly, the reassurance they provided meant that I could truly enjoy the day without worrying about anything.
If you are considering getting married abroad it can feel stressful at times but having Emily there means you know everything will be arranged with amazing attention to detail, she will care as much about your day as you do.
I’m already missing our constant emails but will definitely be keeping in touch – we’ll need to arrange the 10 year reunion party at Terre Di Baccio – see you there! Lots of Love Mr and Mrs Robinson xxxxx

Hiring Emily as our on the day wedding coordinator was absolutely one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. Having an events background, I was conscious that I wouldn’t be able to sit back and let go, however after having met with Emily – it was very easy to hand things over and switch off! Having a DIY wedding in a field with over 200 guests was always going to be a massive job but Emily went above and beyond what was expected and completely exceeded any expectations that we did have! Her attention to detail and exceptional management skills are all a girl can ask for when handing over her big day.
Not only did the day go perfectly but the service we received leading up to the day was brilliant, plans were so easy to hand over to Emily and running through everything made me feel so at ease – with Emily always offering great ideas or alternatives to some of our sticky rather complicated logistics! Her hard work and commitment really did make our day perfect and I can’t thank Emily enough for that! Couldn’t imagine doing it without her! Emily you have been such a massive part of our wedding process and I honestly do not know what I would have done without you. I found you on a blog post you had written about 2 years ago now and the words you wrote screamed out to me, as you were exactly what we were looking for! From the beginning to end you have been impeccably organised – loving an excel spreadsheet which went down very well with the Husband! (Still feels weird calling him that!)
This helped us not feel stressed, and also enabled us to know exactly where we were in planning our wedding. Every email you responded to super fast, and I am going to miss our email chats as you have become a regular in my email inbox. I can’t imagine how many emails we have sent each other over 18 months!

Emily was brilliant during the wedding planning stages. She organised all venue meetings and two trips out to Italy to find the perfect venue – Grand Hotel Royal, this included food tasting, hair and makeup trials and she found a great location for pre welcome drinks for guests few days prior to the wedding.
She handled any queries and gave advice when needed. When our day came everything went so smoothly, it was decorated beautifully and we can’t thank you enough for helping make our day as incredible as it was

We contacted Emily in November 2015 to help us plan a wedding in Italy for July 2016. From the outset, Emily was diligent, conscientious and really took into consideration our wishes for our ‘dream’ wedding as well as our budget! Emily was meticulous in her planning, to the point that on the day, the wedding went completely smoothly and we could just relax and take in the day.
The wedding was truly wonderful – Emily found us a perfect venue and picked great vendors, from the flower arrangers to the photographers. She even brought the sun! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding and we’ll never forget our wonderful wedding day.

When you plan a wedding in another country (Italy), on a different continent, with different time zones and languages and use a wedding planner from yet a completely different country (UK) than where you are having the wedding, you really are testing the hands of fate.
Our planning, from day 1, was nothing if not seamless. One thing that relieved my bridal stress was how attentive and prompt Emily was throughout the planning. Every email was returned and every silly question I asked was answered.
Our Tuscan wedding was a glorious day that will live in our hearts forever.
Don’t be afraid to follow your dream and have a destination wedding. Having someone else take care of everything is a God-send. We are blessed, married and happily enjoying our life together as husband and wife in New Mexico. Far away from Italy, but we will have the memories forever.

I cannot recommend Emily enough, from our first conversation she has been so helpful and organised and taken all the stress off of me. Organising an abroad wedding was quite daunting but the bespoke service from Emily made it easy.
She really listens to what you want but also gives brilliant advice, all the suppliers she recommended were exceptional. Our day was absolutely perfect and we couldn’t have done it without Emily. It’s going to be really weird not chatting over email anymore, not sure what I’ll do with myself now it’s all done!
