You’ll benefit from my knowledge and experience, as well as an extensive network of venues and trusted suppliers. You’ll also receive support from my wider team of partner planners who are based in Spain and Italy, which means you receive a comprehensive end-to-end service throughout the planning.

Two.

Hopefully you leave our call excited to move forward with Weddings by Emily Charlotte. At this stage there is a small amount of admin required; I'll send you a Booking Contract and an invoice for the initial booking fee. Once this is completed the fun can begin...

Three.

I believe this is the moment couples really begin to feel like it's happening...you're getting married!
After our discussions I'll have a good understanding of what you have in mind. I'll send you an initial proposal document filled with venue suggestions that are suited to your requirements, price point and guest numbers, but most importantly are going to start giving you all the feels!
This is a two way process, so if you have already come across venues then just let me know; I'll then advise on their suitability for your day.
We'll aim to shortlist 3-5 strong contenders for you to visit in person with my colleagues.

Venue proposal

Four.

This stage makes me excited for you! It's time to view your venues in person (if that's what you wish to do). I have location based partner planners who will accompany you to your shortlisted venues, answer any questions you may have, remove any language barriers and generally help you envisage how your day could flow at each venue. You should leave this trip knowing where your wedding will take place - let me assure you, this is the best feeling! 
On your return we'll finalise the booking with the venue. You officially have a wedding date!

Five.

Years of experience combined with a strive for perfection means I have an extensive list of not only breathtaking properties but also accomplished suppliers to share with you.
I’ll make suggestions based on your preferences and requirements and when you’re ready to move forward I’ll manage those bookings for you. Already have suppliers in mind that you’d like to work with? That’s okay too; it's your wedding day and your choices.
We'll typically work through in order of priority and preference to you until we have booked all the services and team needed to give you your dream day.

Six.

If you're planning a legally recognised civil or religious ceremony then navigating the documentation process can feel a bit daunting, particularly when getting married abroad. 
When the time comes I will guide you through the process one easy step at a time, so all your documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
My partner planners will handle the paperwork administration in your chosen country.

Seven.

Weddings are expensive and costs can easily spiral. Trust me...once you're immersed in the beautiful world of weddings there is a lot of temptation to have everything you want, saying yes without much consideration for the overall spend. This is okay if you're flexible or if you're aware and comfortable with your ongoing expenditure. What we do not want is any nasty surprises further down the line, so to ensure this doesn't happen I track your spend throughout, including deposits paid, balance due and key payment dates. You can have access to this document whenever you need it.

Eight.

As I've said before, logistical planning is my thing.
I'll create two schedules for you.
1 - your supplier facing schedule; arrival times for each supplier, service start and end times etc. This is the behind-the-scenes that helps to ensure the smooth running of your event.
2 - your guest facing schedule; this is the overall flow of your day: ceremony, cocktail reception, dinner, speeches, cake cutting, first dance etc. Designed to keep your day on track whilst also allowing for the natural progression of events.

Nine.

As much goes into the aesthetics of an EC event as it does the logistics. When it comes to flowers, tablescapes and decor I can provide suggestions to give your wedding wow factor. Taking inspiration from your venue and natural surroundings and combining it with any colour scheme preferences that you have.
Some couples have a strong sense of styling in mind, for others a little more guidance and help to visualise is needed. Whichever one is you, we'll work together to ensure your wedding looks as amazing as it feels.

Ten.

The day you have been waiting for is finally here!
At least one member of the EC team, depending on logistics and guest numbers, will be present at your wedding from set up through to the end of event to ensure the day runs as smoothly as possible. 
You can relax and enjoy yourself knowing your day is in safe, experienced, hands.
