I know myself that one of the most frustrating things is when you're interested in a product or service, but can't find any information on what it costs. How do you know if it's for you in this instance?
I'll be honest, I've had phases of having my prices on my website, then off again however I'm happy with where I've settled, and that's on being transparent with regards to pricing from the very beginning.
On this page, I hope you find the answers that you're seeking, which may help you to determine whether we're a good fit for one another and aligned on costs. This can be an important step in deciding on whether or not to make that initial enquiry.
Please just keep in mind this is a guideline, designed to give you a starting point and an understanding in what to expect. I will always provide a bespoke quote after an initial consultation when I have a specific idea about your requirements.
As a typical guideline you can expect to pay:
10% of your total spend for a 1 day wedding or event
12-15% of your total spend for a multi-day or marquee wedding or event
A minimum investment of £10,000 will apply regardless of spend
(i.e. if your total budget is £80,000, the minimum investment for planning services would be £10,000)
Travel expenses for the WBEC will be additional, and an idea of what may be incurred will be provided in your bespoke quote.
Please note the fee structure for microweddings (<20 guests) and elopements is slightly different, and the minimum investment for this type of service is £5,000.
Complete Wedding Planning Management
(Italy, Spain or England)
I understand that my wedding planning services are an investment and I don't take that lightly.
I dedicate a considerable amount of time and energy to each couple, I take a limited number of weddings each year, usually 6-8. which allows me to ensure I can give the level of attention that you would expect.
I price my services appropriately for that, in line with industry standard and considering the 10 years of experience I have in planning weddings and events.
Your wedding planner manages every aspect of celebration; the venue, the vendors, the timeline and the guest experience. They should absolutely be your biggest investment.
On occasion it can be questioned why a higher spend equates to a higher planner fee.
From experience, I can confidently say that larger budgets do demand more. More time, more management and more expectation. All of which is totally acceptable, but should be factored into the quote.
You're not being charged more simply because you have chosen an upgraded wine option. You're being charged more because you typically have more guests and/or more suppliers and services to manage, both of which have logistical and time implications.
In general I include a 'buffer' in my quotations. This allows for you spending a little more than initially planned, without a change in the fee so you can be confident in the fee structure being applied.
For the last 10 years I have offered the same payment structure - if it ain't broke and all that!
On entering the agreement a 25% booking fee is payable.
Thereafter I suggest equal monthly installments based on your estimated, agreed total spend.
This would begin at the time of booking and run through until 2 months prior to the wedding month.
If there is any change in spend then the final invoice is adjusted accordingly to align with the agreed percentage fee.
This structure gives us both comfort and security. For you, your payments are spread, known and consistent.
For me, I'm receiving payment throughout the planning process so I'm being paid appropriately as the workload increases.
Full details of the payment schedule would be outlined in both your quote proposal and your booking agreement, and of course cancellation terms apply which have been independently drawn up to protect us both.
This should go without saying, but everything is bespoke.
By now you should have a good understanding of the fee structure you can expect, however a comprehensive, bespoke quote will be provided to you after a consultation; this will factor in your requirements, likely logistics (multi day/multi venue), guest numbers and budget.
I don't discount my services; I know the value I can add, but if I think we're a good fit I will work with you to try and find a solution that meets your price point, which can sometimes mean an adjustment in the offering.

"From the very first meeting, we knew we made the right decision. Emily is organized, calm under pressure, detail-obsessed (in the best way), and just gets it. Not only did she handle all of the vendor coordination and last-minute logistics the weeks leading up, but she also ran the entire show on the wedding day itself.
At the end of the night, my parents came up to me and said: “We regret not having an ‘Emily’ at your sister’s wedding - she’s unbelievable.”
That pretty much sums it up!
If you're looking for someone to take the stress out of your wedding day and ensure everything runs seamlessly - look no further.
"Best ever!!!!!
We had the most insane few days with a different theme every night. Emily made our wedding dreams come true and more !!"
"Emily is wonderful to work with - incredibly kind, humble and patient. Just seeing Emily there at our venue on the wedding day made us feel so much calmer and we knew everything was under control.
Our guests have said it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and we cannot thank Emily enough for creating it for us."
