Emily Charlotte

This editorial, featured on Love My Dress, was all about demonstrating that more really can be more! Throughout the design I wanted to incorporate bold patterns and textures, including the floral table linen, coloured plates and glassware, soft pink patterned dress and the abundance of luscious flower arrangements.
I chose some common concepts and mixed them up a little, for example, instead of a regular champagne tower I immersed champagne coupes within the flowers at the base of the cake display - an idea I still love! In place of more traditional escort cards, I arranged escort tags so they were effortlessly hanging from individual candlesticks. All unique details that can easily be incorporated into a couples wedding day.

Full and dramatic floral installations were key to this concept; from the thick table runner to the imposing ceremony backdrop, it was all about creating impact, showing how this can work beautifully alongside other design elements, such as the elevated tablescape.

As always, a wonderful team helped me to bring this vision to life...
