Villa Relais Balis Crema is a newly refurbished villa, steeped in history; I had the pleasure of visiting just two weeks after opening.

This intimate villa is perfect for small weddings of up to 40 guests. At the moment, there are bedrooms onsite for around 40, but a further 5 double bedrooms are expected shortly.

The rooms and interiors here are finished to an impeccable standard; some of the best I have seen in Italy. They’re modern, contemporary and spacious, with each one having a quirky detail whether it’s wallpaper or prints.

There is a Michelin star restaurant onsite, as well as a wine bar, so this is a great location for those with a passion for food and drink.
