Venue Spotlight: Benham Park
A new and exclusive luxury wedding and event venue, Benham Park is taking the wedding industry by storm. An impressive country manor house wedding venue, Benham Park is situated in the Berkshire countryside just an hour from London.
I say new wedding venue, but actually Benham Park is an historic Georgian estate dating back to the 18th Century, however it reopened at the beginning of 2026 following a truly impressive renovation and since reopening I have had the pleasure of visiting several times both with perspective clients and for their venue launch party earlier in the year.
Benham Park is the perfect country wedding venue or somewhere to celebrate an exclusive birthday party, for those looking for a weekend of quiet luxury. It’s Bath stone facade is suited for those seeking a grand English country manor house, yet once inside it’s interiors are chic, modern and understated, yet expertly finished.
This wedding or party venue is yours for the duration of your hire period; a home away from home to share with your closest family and friends.
Set in 130 acres of parkland time spent at Benham feels calm, private and special. The sprawling countryside and lake views can be especially enjoyed from the rooftop terrace (which also makes for a very special spot for some pre-celebration drinks or a post-event BBQ).
There are 10 beautiful bedrooms onsite, sleeping 20 people, each of which are a very generous size. They feel bright, airy and relaxed with ample space and ensuite bathrooms.
There are a number of lounges and dining areas within the house which can be used as you wish throughout your stay; the managers here have shown great flexibility in my discussions with them so far, so if there’s something you specifically envisage for your day then that’s absolutely open for discussion.
For your wedding or event it’s possible to transform the spaces and turn this relaxing home into a truly exclusive party venue. For seated dining, the maximum capacity in the ballroom is 140 guests, however 100-120 would feel more comfortable. Above this number there is ample space without the gorgeous grounds for a marquee wedding or party.
One of my favourite areas of Benham Park is the lower level; here you can find the most divine wine cellar, as well as a basement room which makes an ideal after party space!
In summary, if you’re looking for a high-end venue for your wedding or celebration which feels homely yet impressive, luxurious yet inviting and simply timeless, then Benham Park should most definitely be on your radar!
